21st Century Thame

21st Century Thame is a Town Partnership set up to facilitate projects which enhance the town for residents, businesses and visitors alike.

OUR PURPOSE

Our aim and vision is:

"To enhance the historic market town of Thame by protecting its past and promoting its future as a vibrant and flourishing centre serving the whole community"

And we do this by:

"Attracting and investing resources; delivering against an action plan; providing a platform for partnerships and initiatives; and lobbying for change when we're unable to effect change."
 

OUR REMIT

The Steering Group have identified these key areas which we want to concentrate on over the coming years.  These topics have received a great deal of public consultation and we are therefore confident that our work will reflect the needs and desires of the residents, businesses and visitors of Thame.

• Running events and attracting people into the town
• Bring business together
• Support technology including wifi and a rationalised web presence
• PR & marketing for Thame
• Tidy up the approaches into the town
• Community Arts Centre
• Improve cycleways
• Improve parking signage & traffic in town centre

From the Home page......

In the right hand column there are three tabs:

• Event
• Business
• Community

To promote an Event then enter the details in the form under the Events tab.

To create a free listing for your Business then enter the details in the form under the Business tab.

To create a free listing for your Club, Society etc then enter the details in the form under the Community tab.

If this is your first contribution to the site then you will have to create a Login for yourself. This will include your email address. This is to enable us to ensure that the site is not abused. You will then be sent an email to verify your listing. Once you have verified your listing the entry will be published.

For businesses. should you wish to spend some money and have a more impressive entry on the site, there are three  options available:

• Your business in bold type on the top positions of our business listings
• A place in our rotating banners on top of all our pages, linked to your website or microsite
• A dedicated multi-page microsite, with gallery, contact form and map

Please note 21st Century Thame reserve the right to delete any contribution to the site should it be considered damaging or inappropriate.

21st Century Thame is an organisation which is dedicated to the future of Thame, and the surrounding villages. Run by volunteers, funding is sourced for projects to improve the vitality and vibrancy of Thame and to make it a better place to live, work and visit.
